Question Please help...should I be worried about GH causing Insulin resistance?

I have been struggling with rather or not to take GH for my tendonosis/tendonitis problems or not.

My only concern with taking GH after much research is the insulin resistance it causes and I know way to many people who are diabetic(from poor diet and genetics) so I guess I am extra paranoid now.

Heck my doctor will even put me on it.

Should I be worried if I only want to cycle 2IU's per day for 8 months out of the year with a good diet and protocol??(no family history whatsoever..and we have a large aged family)

I have noticed in medical studies that the insulin resistance seems to become an issue even at low doses after 12 months....so would cycling no more than 8 months out of the year make a difference or not?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

its all about diet and timing your hgh shot. don't consume carbs around injection time but stick to pro/fat. and take some ala/chromium/cinnamon to increase insulin sensetivety. plus by shooting in the morning after 8hrs of fasting while sleeping and have just protein and fats for breakfast it made me loose a hell of alot of bodyfat.

Give it a run..Buy a Glucose meter and monitor your Blood sugar levels. I would also listen to Rodge..Make sure no carbs and 1 1/2 before or after shot..Cinamon has been show to increase insulin sens as well as chromium and many other supps.

    Thanks for the input guys!

I will definitley follow your advice when I get the nerve to take GH.

Rodge...I thought insulin sensitivity was one of the negative sides of taking GH..even though that is the reason you burn fat?? Isn't that what causes diabetes?

hgh decreases insulin sensetivety to a degree. igf-1 increases insulin sensetivety. so if you eat carbs around injection time of hgh then you will end up with elevated bloodsugar levels for a prolonged period of time(untill igf-1 is released from the liver) wich can cause typeII diabetes. so its so much the hgh but more the high bloodsugar level thats the cause.

    Thanks again Rodge!

Now I think I can take GH without worrying about elevated BG levels or diabetes.
