I checked my blood pressure in one of the grocery store machines and it read 145/73. What should i do to lower the 145?Any other thoughts

more likely to be the test raising it slightly IMO.

Take another ten readings with a good cuff. One measurement on an unknown machine doesn't mean anything.

I agree that it is probably from the test, but your dosage is very sane, so check it again.

Also, 145/73 typically isn't a concern, esp. if you were standing, had been walking etc. 73 is good, and 143 is barely high - if at rest. Get a good cuff, and take it when you are calm and preferably lying down for a couple minutes. You HR shoudl be back to baseline, so well after any workout, etc.
