    GH pre workout with carbs??????

Currently running 4 iu ED of blue top, have been for last 3 months. I have also been running slin for 5 weeks then igf for 5 weeks. Currently im running slin and wanted opinions on shooting the gh pre workout and slin post. I know this would be synergistic but i eat carbs pre workout and I am concerned about shooting GH along with the carbs for obvious reasons. Any ideas???

I shoot pre work out, and eat oatmeal with fruit with it. Sometimes pasta, I dont see any ill effects. My 2 cents.

thanks mate, I have done it and felt fine but I am worried about the GH blunting Slin release and the implications that could have (becoming diabetic?)
    Bump for more opinions

I'd like to see more people weigh in on this one. I don't know much, BUT from what I've heard, aren't GH injections supposed to be at least 1 hour before and after taking in any carbs?? Help me out here.

yes that is correct pimp, so based on that i would have to either shoot gh pre workout but have a pro/fat meal which I don't want to do as carb/pro has been proven to be extremely important pre workouk. Other option is to shoot GH later in evening but then i don't get the synergy of the GH+slin which i take PWO. HELP!

    Bump out of interest.
Yes that definitely sounds like a conundrum.
I am about to start GH (no slin), but I am so paranoid of shutting down my natural production that I only intend on injecting immediately after waking up.

Just something I was reading, can be used when using GH/carbs pre-workout.

Unless I'm mistaken, increased insulin sensitivity = less insulin, not more, required to balance blood sugar levels. Plus, fat is slow absorbing, so it generally lowers the glycemic index of foods and has a blood sugar regulating effect. Remember, adding a little fat will actually balance blood sugar unless your carbs are high GI - what type of carbs are you eating?

Since your diet is low carb, I would think it would be a great way to keep blood sugar balanced, which should prevent fat gain. You might want to make sure the carbs you do ingest, are taken with some protein and a little fat, to keep blood sugar from spiking too much. Taking carbs alone, unless there's a lot of fiber in there, will spike insulin somewhat. Taking them with fat will blunt that effect. But at such low levels, the glycemic load overall is still small, even if you do take your carbs alone.

The one time you might want to avoid fats if you're taking a high GI carb pwo, since the fat will blunt the insulin spike and slow protein uptake.
