Im Inj Question For Igf

I have been administering my igf sub q with good results but as I read and learn more many are proponents of using it IM PWO .
I am a little unsure of the proper placement of needles when it comes to places like your arms chest etc . Is there an exact spot for each muscle ?
I have only ever used my glutes for IM as I had a bad experience in my quad and shoulder ( hurt like a mofo for a good week and the shot was given properly .)
