Well I did my first Slin shot this morning of 2iu of humalog. I waited four minutes and began to drink my pwo shake which I specially made for this.
It's to much cabs and protein for 2iu but it should work well as I increase the dosage of slin.

Right now my pwo drink contains:

1) Gatorade - 1 scoop -75 calories and 20 grams sugars - all quick sugar
2) twin labs ultra fuel - 2 scoops 200 calories, 15 grams simple sugars,35 grams complex sugar(carb?) - maltodextrin
3) whey protein - 2 scoops 160 calories, 40 grams protein
4) organic whole wheat 2 table spoons - haven't researched yet
5) Creatine mono hydrate 10 grams


Any feed back on the shake? It is drinkable - better then most premixed stuff,
It this a good blend of simple sugars and carbs?

I've got my more drink and glucose tabs on hand just In case -although it seems like overkill for 2iu, considering the amount of carbs in my shake.
Better safe then sorry though.

Right now I'm doing the shots at home after my morning cardio - because I don't need to worry about driving etc. Once I get the hang of it, I will try it post lifting workout in the early evenings at my gym.

Its been forty minutes since my shot - I'm about to go make me some vitals
6 egg whites and a bowl of oat cereal in water with banana and blue berries.

Any advice on slin shooting? I have done quite a bit of research so I know start out with 10g carbs per 1iu - eventually I maybe able to fine tune it to 7 or 8. - don't go to sleep for the next 5 hours - also no fat during the 5 hours - keep sugar @ the ready - and I've read up on the symptoms of hypoglycemia.

I'm still looking at different protocols for integration with IGF - so any related experiences in this regard would be helpful.
