    Effects of GH while "underage"?

I'm aware of the negative effects of taking anabolic steroids when under the age of 25.

But what are the effects of taking GH at say 16-23 years of age?

    Thanks.

A condition called Acromeglia or "giantism" is always a risk no matter what age you are when taking GH but especially when you are underage when your bones still have active growth plates. Look it up but it causes bones to grow larger, longer and thicker than "normal". Normal being what your genes would allow you to grow to under natural circumstances with natural hormone levels.

I don't like pointing out people's defects but Acromeglia isn't a very pretty sight to develop.

It was my understanding that Acr*****lia is a disordered you must be predisposed to, a disease and that using growth hormone would not cause it. Is this not true?

    Anymore input please?

Acro mega ly doesn't happen in youths, that is, those whose growth plates haven't been sealed. They would see normal bone growth in addition to acro mega ly type growth, known as gigantism. Acro mega ly occurs only in adults, and is caused by a very high level of growth hormone , either naturally produced by a pituitary tumor or artificially induced via injections, over a long period of time.
