How to store IGF powder!!?? What if frozen?? HELP!

How should i store my powder igf vials? And if its should be in the fridge, what happens to it if its get frozen for a short time??

Thought it should be in the freezer when it came in powder as well...did it take any damedge of this? I let it be in the freezer for 10-15 min, and now i have placed it in the fridge again...

I dont think that this was a good idea,so this would be -4 degrees F, 36degrees below freezing,

I don't think you would've done too much damage but I would personally suggest reconstituting it in Acetic Acid and then storing it in your fridge. It will be good in there for about 2 years (I would suggest using it sooner).

as said, it should be stored in the fridge instead of the freezer. but since it was in it for only 10-15min. and it probably came from room temperature i doubt it even went below zero(estamating that it even was packed in some kind of cardbox).

I had the igf in the fridge first, and then i thought it should be put in the freezer if stored longer. (Miss understode info on internet). And after 15min i placed it in the fridge again.


But if the temp went below -0 Degrees for a short period of time, it must take a while until the powder will actually freez rigth!? It cant take damedge right away? And the freez point maybe is something -10 degress?? (hopefully) =)

I have now looked around all over the internet. And it seems like some lyophilized powders are stored in -20.C when stored for a longer period of time(Botulinum Toxin, and also some igf like it says on the site i publiched in the firts post in this thread, and other substance in Lyophilized powder).??? But freezing and thawing too many times is never good, of what i read.?

Perhaps its not completly deadly for the peptides to be kept colder than
+/-0 C...? Not if the peptid just spent 15min in an inviroment around max -5 degrees Celcius...it cant freez in just a short time in that temp, right? Water take quite a while before it will freez when making ice in the frezzer...

hm...any one who have some opinions about this point of view?

So everyone know: I dont say that this is how you should store Lyophilized powder igf! Just looking in to how much it realy can be damage by low temp.

i have read that in AA the reconstructed igf1 can last up to 2 years in all sorts of temperatures even at room temp its good for 2 years in AA

I froze my igf powder for a week and the guys at *** said it should be fine. I know for the peg mgf your supposed to keep the powder form frozen until reconstituted. Your fine
