after ordering some generic hgh from a chinese manufacturing co i recieved an email from them telling to email them my phone number so that TNT can contact me when package arrives. these sounded strange and i have never had to do this before. anyone heard of this

Tell them you don't have a contact #. I'm sure it's not necessary.

I wouldnt worry about it, they just want to make sure you get your stuff

I wouldn't give them my number, the risk may be low, but why risk it when you can recive it without giving them your number.

You could always buy a prepaid.Fed ex did that to me once with a package and I freaked out, but it was just a courtesy call.

What happens if they deliver stuff and nobody at home. I'm guessing they leave a note and you have to collect it from their office. I use a prepay phone and if I need I can dispose of it. If it was to slap cuffs on you they could do that when they deliver it anyway.

I have ordered clothes and electronics from china. They ship by TNT and always ask for my telephone number. It`s just for the currier.
It`s the easiest way to get in contact with you -if there should be a problem finding your address.
