I have 1 Vial of 1000mcg of IGF and It came with 1ml of Acetic Acid so on the the insulin needle what would be each line/tick? I don't know why but I'm so confused about this
Thanks

If you're using a 1ml/cc pin, each line/tick would be 20mcg. If you're using .5ml/cc or .3ml/cc pins each line/tick would be 10 mcg. IMO it's much easier to measure with the smaller pins, especially if you use 2ml of AA to reconstitute (then each tick is 5mcg).Originally Posted by joeybenz
I bought a similar kit and I am wondering how many ml's of the AA are you putting in the 1gram vial, 1ml or 2ml's? Are you cutting the IGF with more AA before injection?
measure your AA when you reconstitute it. I thought I had 1mL and it turned out it was 3. Screwed up my first shots and meant I had to cut it with a lot more NaCL... which actually ended up making measuring easier, since I have 3mL pins.
It's in your best interest to learn and understand the calculations and figure it out on your own. Sort of a pain in the ass, but worth it.
