Serostim Question

I have a question, in the serostim package insert it states that unreconstituted Serostim should be stored at room temperature, and only refrigerate after reconstitution. So will it hurt it to refrigerate it before reconstitution, I am so use to chinese GH, so it seems counter intuitive not to toss it in the fridge ASAP. Store between 59-86 degrees.

You will be okay at reasonable room temperatures with Serono offerings (Serostim and Saizen). The process they use to manufacture their products offer a side benefit in being stable at room temperatures until you reconstitute. If for some reason your pantry (or wherever you would store it) is outside of a comfortable temperature range, then I certainly would still stick it in the fridge.

hey RB, I have not seen you in a while!! Do you use BW water or the sterile? I was hearing the BW water may degrade the serostims, I am doing 6iu a day, so each bottle would last 3 days, so I am not too worried about bacteria.

And one last question, do you split your doses, or all in the AM?

I have never heard that BW degrades HGH, but interested to know if there is any support for that statement...

For no longer than your need your vials to last, sterile water will work just fine. When I have used the Serono stuff, I usally just use the sterile water that they include in their kits.

I usually split my doses, but still take it all in the AM - 1/2 at about 4-5 in the morning, 1/2 at about 5-9 in the morning.

thanks RB, I am taking all 6iu first thing in the AM....is that too much to take all at once?

Not as long as the sides are manageable. I have been using 10 IU's/ day for a while, so my injections are 5 IU's a piece. The time to consider splitting it up would be if you get a real good case of CTS and other sides that can't be kept in check.
