Unhappy End of my GH cycle

Ive been on GH for close to 5 months. In this time, it healed a major tendon injury and has kept me strong in the gym. After my injuries healed, I went back into the gym and recovered 20 of my lost 30 Lbs (due to injury) in 6 weeks without using gear. It was all very remarkable. I also look healthier generally - and younger as well.

However, this morning I discovered something that may put paid to all my GH ambitions for good. I made the mistake of not regularly testing my blood glucose. I had checked it initially after a couple of weeks of usage and found it to be in the normal range - about 4.6 to 5.2.

But this morning I ran another check after nearly four months (this was a big mistake as I should have tested regularly) - and my glucose has gone up to 6.2 nmol (and this is a reading taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach - I think that comes to about 112 in US units). So the GH is making me insulin restistant which could if persisted cause type II diabetes. I am going to get an A1c and another test done in the lab this week to make sure my home use meter reading isn't wrong. But if the readings are correct, then I am f***ed. I can't use GH any more.

I have been on GH at 3 IU a day. Initially I was on 7 days but now its 6 on and 1 off.

    Any sugesstions?

6.2mmol/l is a little high especially if that's the reading you got first thing in the morning. If you are ever unsure of the reading or if something doesn't look right, check your BG again, you never know.

I personally have never come across any users that have had their BG levels effected by GH on permenant bases, but I would def go and see a professional who can give you more of an accurate answer.

I would check yout BG tomorrow morning and see what reading you get. Either way though, better safe than sorry so as I said go and see a doc.

    Did you use insulin ?

    Best of luck to you.

Had a sample taken today for an A1c. Also had a spot check done and the reading was 6.8 (on an empty stomach not having eaten for 12 hours overnight).

On Sunday the numbers were 5.8, 6.2 (5 minutes later), 5.5 (half an hour later) and 5.3 (an hour later) - not having eaten throughout (first thing in the morning and then at the times indicated afterwards).

So I really don't know what's going on but hopefully I should be able to tell after the A1c results are out.

I didn't use Insulin any time during my GH usage.
