It really depends on what the goal is. In most ways they compliment each other quite nicely. They shuttle nutrients in a very complimentary fashion, and the insulin will combat increased BG levels. HGH and insulin hitting the liver and other tissues at the same time will equate to some impressive IGF boosts.
About the only trade-off that comes to mind is that I don't believe you will get quite the fat mobilizing and burning from the HGH if slin is also in the equation at the same time. What I usually do is take my HGH pre-workout, then insulin post-workout. That puts a little space between the two, but keeps them close enough to still get some impressive IGF boosts while retaining some fat loss properties of HGH.
