    GH+IFG-1 for torn pec

I was hoping I could get some guidance for my current situation. Almost 3 years ago I partially tore my pec and coracobracialis which left a bruise on the inside of my pec and bicep area as well as 2 almond size lumps on the inside of my pec. The doc said the tendon was fine after he read the MRI and that I just tore the muscle so he sent me to have physical therapy done which lasted almost 5 months. I gained almost all of my range of motion back and the lumps went away. I have been working out again for 3months now, taking it easy on all pushing motions; however I'm still feeling a signifigant amount of pain which worries me. I'm extremly worried about tearing the muscle again possibly even worse then the first time.

My stats are 26 years old, 5'10", 180lbs, used to bench double my body weight

    My questions are:

    1) How much GH and IFG-1 is considered the standard for healing up a injury such as mine?

    2) How long should I be on both?

    3) Should I cycle them on/off? I read that being on GH for a long time can lead to reduced production when you get off.

    4) Is time a factor? it has been a long time since the injury, will I still be able to regenerate the old tissue?

    5) Do I take both GH and IFG-1 at the same time?

Money is no object, I would be willing to take a loan out if I had to in order to get myself fixed up again, so please share all your thoughts regardless of price.

I would say HGH alone is enough for healing purposes, and the doses really depend on your injury and how severe the injury is. I am not qualafied to tell you excatly how long you should cycle GH for because like I said it depends on the condtion of your injury and what type of injury it is.

When it comes to questions like this I wouldn't be taking anybody's advice unless they're a qualfied practitioner. I would defenitely see your doc and have a chat with him about it.

GH should be ran with no breaks and IGF usually with breaks. There is no proof that GH use for extended period of time will cause a complete shut down.

Time is never a factor with HGH, if there is something that needs healing then without a question HGH can certainly benefit you.

Speak with your doc, that's your best option.

    Good luck.

The condition of my injury is relatively well by comparison to what it was. I'm able to bench press slow and controled for high reps with 135, so the injury isnt horrible in my opion just healing very slowly. (I'm scared to move up more then 5lbs a week)

I actually had mentioned my interest in GH to my doc and he gave me a funny look, I told him it was just to make sure this injury would heal up well, he told me that although he knew the benifits of GH I probly didnt need it (he gave me this answer after asking me if I had plans to return to competitive powerlifting, I told him no. Not sure if he based his answer off that).

Gear- I believe you mentioned in another post that GH should not be used for any less then 4 months. Does this apply to me and this injury?

Whats the longest amount of time you would think necessary to stay on GH for this type of injury?

I know I'm asking difficult questions but, any information or speculation would be greatly appreciated.

btw, Gear you really are awsome for helping so many of us day in and day out, I tip my hat to you sir.

    Dasher,

Like I said, since I am not a qualfied practitioner, it would be hard for me to accurately say how long you should be on HGH for and/or what doses you should use accrding to your age and what type of injury you have. Instead, it would be good to get answers from other users who have used HGH for healing purposes.

Sorry for no help and good luck.

    Bump!

i tore my pectoralis major along with my upper bicep 8wks ago. i tore mine on the outer right by my armpit, my entire chest and arm was black for 3wks. anyway i,ve been running extremly high doses of deca along with a topical anti-inflamatory and it's working great, i just put 45's back on hammer strenghs machines doing really strict form only going halfway down.

My buddy suggested giving deca a shot along with the GH. does anyone else have any facts to support combining both deca+GH would create greater rehab results then just using GH alone?

also I'm gona start a cycle of GH around next month and planed on starting with 2IU's every morning since I have never used GH before. Should I start with 3iu or more? is this enough for my purposes?

    feedback is greatly appreciated.

start with 2iu's and slowly increase weekly to keep sides down, once you get past 3iu's you should take twice daily

    Ok sounds great,

2iu daily for maybe a month or so, then up it to 3iu daily, then eventually 2 iu twice a day? I think I understood that correctly

so any suggestions on the deca or should I just stick with the GH for now?
