    injection question

    stupid question guys, im going to take 2 iu 5 days a week, however the pins i have are for insulin and meaure in units, so would it be 20 units equals 2 ius?

    how many iu in the vial and how much liquid did you use?

    8 iu in each vial.injected 1 cc of bact water in vial..

    when using 1mL for 8iu....each '10' mark on the insulin pin is 0.8iu

    so you wanna shoot at the '25' mark or half way between 10 & 20 (depending on what type of slin pin you are using)...that will be 2iu

    when using 8iu vials, use 0.8mL of bact water next time to keep it much easier....that way, every '10' mark is simply 1iu and you will just need to shoot an even '20' to get 2iu
