It doesn't make any difference if you're a bodybuilder or a sprinter, you still use insulin the same way and you use the same amount. 10IU isn't a high dose actually, but it's enough for recovery.

Hmm, Thank you ! I didnt know that. So building up gradually to 10iu would be relatively safe and effective ? how can I minimize excess weight gains with this ?

    Absolutely.

When it comes to unwanted excess weight, it all comes down to your diet. Any excess carbohydrates will be stored as fat so you must ensure you consume just enough carbohydrates to stay out of hypo (which is enough for recovery).

You can buy a MG monitor which will tell you where your blood glucose levels are at. If your BG levels are too low then you know you haven't consumed enough carbs. If your BG levels are too high then you know you have consumed too much carbs. Try and keep your glucose levels between 70mg/dl and 110mg/dl, they're considered normal levels.

    Good luck.

    Not a problem, anytime.

Just out of curiosity, do you mind me asking what your best time is for 100m?

Somewhere in the middle would be best. Not too close to 110 and not too close to 70 either. Those levels are minimum/maximum levels.
