cardio and insulin
i was thinking of doing a low dose of 2-4ui of insulin on just cardio days as well as my lifting days. cause i believe that ur more catabolic when u finish cardio then you are on just lifting days. what are your thoughts on this?

So a lower slin dose pwo on a cardio day? Maybe, what are your goals and experience?

Anytime your body needs fuel for recovery is a good time to use insulin . I am not sure if the dose you stated will have an effect, I would shoot about 5 - 6IU.

my goals are to recovery from my training and put on some muscle. i will be using humalog R cause its fast acting. i have never used slin before so i think ill start at 4iu Gear then move up to 6-10iu after each lifting or cardio day. i will be buying a BG monitor to make sure im not to low or to high with the carbs. what is a good range to be between? thanx for ur thoughts guys

Even though Humalin-R is considered as a fast acting insulin , it's actually not fast enough for sport enhancing purposes. What you need to get is a rapid acting insulin such as humalog.
I wouldn't expect any muscle gains from insulin but you can look forward to recovering a lot better.
Starting on 4IU is a good idea especially if you're a beginner, and once you get to 8 - 10IU you shouldn't need anymore than that.
Try and keep your glucose levels between 80 and a 110.

You can mix the two if you like but it's not necessary. Either one will do.
