Simple question about HGH + T3

    Some info:

While prepping for my first cycle I went to my doctor to get blood work done as a pre-cycle marker etc. My doc is cool with me using steroids but suggested that I do a small 12 week program before going to the heavy stuff. I agreed because of the rediculous cost, my insurance is picking up the bill. My doctor has an in house pharmacy which he stocks many common drugs. He didn't have any injectible test so he gave me the TEST-IM gel, which is 5g test per tube. He put me on 2x per day x 7 days a week, so its 100mg per day test, however I know that its gel so there is a very low absorption rate. He also wrote me a script for Omnitrope (Somatropin r-DNA) HGH at 2iu per day x 6 days on & 1 off. Each vial is 1ml with 5.8 mg HGH. I'm taking .2 ml per day or 2iu for this HGH.

Anyhow, I was reading about the obvious benefits of T4 with HGH. Now I bought T3 from one of the sponsors here but have not used it yet. Could I get by with the current T3 and my HGH or is it worth going back to the Doc to get a script for Thyroxine T4?

To my understanding T4 is a prohormone for T3, and HGH is supposed to lower your T4, so could I just cut to the chase by simply using my T3?

    Thanks!

Thank you for the link jeffefrijoles!

That was what I was looking to have answered, it was confusing reading posts from others on the subject as inkslinger mentioned.

This hits the nail on the head:

So what are we doing when we add T3 to GH? We’re effectively shutting down the conversion pathway that is responsible for some of GH’s effects! And what would we be doing if we added in T4 instead of T3? You got it- we’d be enhancing the pathway by allowing the GH we’re using to have more T4 to convert to T3, thus giving us more of an effect from the GH we’re taking. Adding T4 into our GH cycles will actually allow more of the GH to be used effectively!
I will give the doc a call tomorrow and ask about a T4 script.

    Thanks!

So on a side note, when would I use this T3 I have?

On my PCT, no HGH, then would use T3 with some Clen to cut down or something?

    Thanks.

When using HGH, you can use T3 or T4, but I usually use T4 since I have access to T4 and since HGH lowers your T4.

The test gel does work but I would not count on it, it certainly does not work like injectible AAS so don't expect miracles but I am sure you will realise this once you have tried it.

I've read the same about the gel, but for 1 small copay a month I said what the heck. The only down side is I am prolonging my cycle of TestE/EQ, however I am still waiting for my EQ to get here. I'm getting worried its not going to arrive and I might have to reorded through another source.

Anyway, I'm just hoping that the gel will give me enough steroid absorption to increase the effect of the HGH and T4 as mentioned in the research.

    Thanks.

Good news. I call the doc, he was out of town actually at a HGH convention of some kind and will be back on Monday. He is going to prescribe me this:

    ARMOUR(r) THYROID1: 1 Grain (60mg) 9.00 mcg T3 / 38.0 mcg T4

He said he has 1/2 grain that I can pick up right now or 1 grain which I can get Monday. He said the 1/2 grain has a short half-life and something or other about the way it works on the heart, is not too good. The 1 grain was better with a longer release time he said.

Anyhow, I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

Thanks for the info on the T3/T4.

Well, I have been taking 1 a day for the past 2 -3 weeks and so ..
its definitely not a quick fix, but in the long run should be good - someone told me itll take 4-6 weeks at least before I notice a thing
