I know the nonprescription insulin types are not fast acting, so not as good. My question is how people are buying insulin off the internet when its supposed to be kept refrigerated. hasn't it gone bad by the time it arrives?

It should be fine as long as it's not exposed to heat. Some sources will send it out with an ice pack.
