    Newbie starting GH today

Well I lost my cherry this morning. I starting HGH for the first time. In fact first time for any injectables. 43 yo, 5-6", 160 lbs, 14% body fat. My goal is to shave the BF down to the 8% range and hopefully speed the healing of a torn bicep. I am 8 weeks post surgery so no upper body lifting yet. Cardio, legs, and abs is about all I can do for the next few months. Planning to do 5 on 2 off with the following schedule. Any input good or bad will be appreciated. Using genaric blue tops. Currently have a total of 6 kits. First vial I mixed with 2cc of BAC. Starting with 2iu.

    week 1 2iu/day
    week 2-4 3iu/day
    week 5-8 4iu/day
    week 9-12 5iu/day
    week 13-up 6iu/day

    Reasonable ramp up?

Ditto kale. Took me 3 weeks to get to 2iu’s. Was freaking falling asleep anywhere, swelling, tingling ect when I started. I went 1.25, 1.5, 1.75 then to 2. I’m 44 and find that 2iu’s is perfect. I tried to move up to 2.5 and was lethargic again, so back to 2 and staying there. 2iu/7 days a week going for a whole year. Been on 3 months now and I can certainly notice a difference. Skin tone and texture, hair is less gray ect.

Good to know. I may back off tomorrow's dose. How long before the sides showed up? Today was day #1, I shot at 5am. About noon now and no noticable sides. No injection site redness or soreness, joints feel good, not sleepy, etc.

Here's a overview of my experience so far. I take it 7 days a week.

Week 1: 1.25i's sleepy as hell
Week 2: 1.5iu's still sleepy, changed to night time shots, helped big time
    Week 3: 1.75iu's nothing noticeable
Week 4: 2iu's seemed to notice a little fat loss but probably from my Test e @ 100/wk
Week 5: 2iu's noticed my skin texture looking healthier
Week 6: 2iu's Hands going to sleep, especially at night
Week 7: 2iu's Skin on face starting to look real good. People even starting to comment I look really good & healthy
Week 8: gray hair changing, more veins in forearms, skins getting thicker… stomach shots are harder to get the needle in
Week 9: gray hair almost gone and what’s left is softer and lighter in color
Week 10: went to 2.5 for 2 days and was tired as hell, went back to 2iu's and I’ll just stay there since I’m seeing results and I'm still pretty early into this

HGH doesn't change your hair color. And unlike what that person posted,HGH makes you skin thinner, NOT THICKER!

Well good morning to you, Pinnacle! I'm not here to argue, or claiming to be an expert by any means, just posting my experience. I don't have that many grays to begin with but I do have fewer. Also the hair is a softer texture and I think that helps with the gray instead of them being brittle. I searched it on a few boards after I started noticing it and I'm not the only one that has experienced this. Only other thing I'm on is my test e 100/wk and we know that's not doing it.

As far as the skin, thinner/thicker whatever you say. All's I know is I assumed mine was thinker since it is noticeably harder to stick a pin in. Not that it won't go in, but not like before when it went in like butter, so I assumed the skin is thicker. Yes, I rotate the injection site. And it’s for my test e and hgh pins.

Not wanting to get into an argument here but there is endocrine literature out there that states HGH causes thickening of the skin.

    LOL.... no refferences at all.

HGH increases collagen, which aids in skin elasticity, not thickness per se.

Here is a small copy and paste from the article about 3/4ths of the way down. I am not saying its right or wrong, I am just stating there are studies to the contrary.

    THE WHOLE LINEUP

Okay, growth hormone is impressive, no doubt about it. Here are some of the things that carefully conducted medical studies-most of them conducted in the six years since Dr. Daniel Rudman opened Pandora's box-have shown it can do:

    ● Increases muscle

    ● Decreases fat

    ● Increases skin thickness

    ● Smoothes out skin wrinkles

    ● Improves exercise tolerance

    ● Reverses heart failure

    ● Improves pulmonary function in people with chronic lung disorders

    ● Increases restorative REM sleep

    ● Increases energy and endurance

    ● Protects mental function and appears to help in the treatment of neurological and mental disorders such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, and multiple sclerosis

    ● Enhances mental alertness and memory

So along those lines, Pinnacle. I have lost body fat from diet and workout over the last 6 months but recently started noticing a little loose skin in the stomach area. Which really sucks. It was a 15 lbs loss over 6 months but those 15 lbs have been there for a long time. Being 44, I was hoping for a 6 pack again. Do you think the hgh over this next year will actually tighten that up? I know it should a little but I mean, really tighten it up.

Day 2 update. Yesterday's injection site now is slightly tender. Nothing crazy just a slight sore spot. I did 2iu again this morning and so far no sides at all. I plan to keep at the 2iu level unless the sides show up. If I tolerate 2iu ok for a full week I will ramp up a little for week 2.

I read the article. I still hold my stance!

What studies? There are no studies listed to read!

Sub-Q should be virtually painless and not sore at all. Are you pinching the skin and going in at a 45 degree angle?

Correct. Soreness may be attributed to using 2cc of BAC instead of 1cc. To get my 2iu I am injecting .40cc.

Lack of experience. Just finished my first vial this morning. Next vial will be mixed with 1cc of BAC. This morning is day five and some sides are starting to show. Yesterday was the first day I have felt the sleepyness and slept incredibly well last night. Had some monor joint soreness this morning but very minor. Within a few minutes of getting out of bed they were gone. I do feel a little new soreness in my left arm that I had bicep repair surgery on. Again nothing major. Overall I think it is going well. I plan to continue running the 2iu/day this week instead of bumping up to 3iu. After this week I will re-evaluate andgo from there.

I personally think you do NOT need to shoot that much GH! I got fantastic results doing under 4iu's. Anything after 4, your asking for trouble!!!

Started my second vial today. This one I mixed with 1cc of BAC. Seems to be much better in terms of injection site soreness/redness. Still at 2iu.

bro, just tell him you and some buddies went to an endo and did an experiment, that holds water right? Anyway, I think possibly it is scar tissue that is making it harder to poke but I too have seen my brother in law loose almost all his gray hair (he was taking growth) I dont know what else may have done it but he thought it was the 6iu of GH
