    Need help with insulin

I just got back from a camp for diabetic kids that i am a counselor at. After the kids left they had alot of insulin leftover and told us we could take it so i got about 50ml worth of Humalog and Novolog and around 100 insulin syringes. I liked the sounds of the plan of starting off with a couple units after every meal and add a unit to that everyday. What would be a good amount to stop at? I was thinking about 12-15 units a meal since my average meal has around 150g of carbs and the average diabetic takes 1 unit for every 10g of carbs. Do you all think this would be a good plan?

Why do you want to take Slin? Not something to blindly experiment with.

first off i woudnt use slin that was used by someone else and secondly are you even familar with the risks and rewards associated with slin? for a beginer slin should only be taken pwo on workout days. you need to start out at 4ius and work your way up to 10ius consuming 10g of carbs and 8g of protein per iu. you need to do a ton of research before jumping into this bro because its a little more dangerous then steroids are.

Make sure youve done extensive research on insulin . This stuff can kill you if not used properly. The method you describe for dosaging seems alright. 1-2ius 5-6x a day before meals with carbs and at least 40g of protein. work up to the amount adding 1 iu a day maybe. You dont want to send your body into shock and go into a coma. You might want to research some fat burners to use while on it, most use a couple thyroid meds.

Keep reading until theres no more to read bro.

    Good luck

just make sure you take in enough carbs when you inject insulin Post work out... 10g of carbs per IU of insulin used.. And I believe the only one that body builders is humilin-r, the shortest acting insulin

But no offense, it sounds like you really need to seriously read about insulin carefully...
if you skrew up you could DIE... OR you could have a seizure and end up with permanent brain damage...

humalog and novolog are faster acting than humulin r. if you read up on it you will find that out. If im not mistaken they are the fastest out there. And i know about all the risks. And i know the signs of when your blood sugar is low due to the fact when i was at the diabetic camp some of the counselors wanted me to see what it felt like to run low so they gave me insulin and didnt have me eat anything and i ended up running low so i know the feeling and to look out for it. You have to receive training on diabetes to work at the camp in case a kid has problems and also my dad is a diabetic so i learned all about it growing up. Oh and by the way everyone that uses insulin and is paranoid of having a seizure from hypoglycemia look into buying glucagon. I'm not sure if you can get it without a prescription but if you ever become dangerously low either you or someone else can give it to you and it will keep you from getting any lower and having a seizure
