HGH Log
Hello ladies and gents.
I hope each of you are good and well. Been around the boards for a couple of years. Mostly reading diet and exercise threads. I have decided to do an hgh cycle (reasons will be discussed) and I want this thread to be the log for weekly conversation of the trials and tribulations that are ahead.
First things first. Stats: 28, 6'0" 180, 15% bf. Ex-college soccer player. limited cycle experience. did a 12 wk deca /test cycle coming back from an acl tear and broken patella sophmore year.
Reasons: The reason for this cycle is simple. I was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease a long time ago. Now, most of you are thinking, what they hell is this guy doing? Let me explain. I feel fortunate enough to get some of the best health care money can buy. With that said, I was almost selected for a study involving certain types of renal diseases and hgh. I was not selected because of two reasons. One, my renal function become lower than the median (not a great thing). Two, I was 30 years younger than all of the subjects. One good thing about almost being part of the study I received a lot of information on gh. Good reading indeed. I even spoke with my Dr. the other day and asked how the study as was going. She told me that it is going very well and subjects are seeing improvement in renal function along with all the other benefits of gh. My situation is if I stay the current course I will need a transplant in a year or so. As you can read, I have nothing to lose and some things to gain. The goal is to put off the transplant as long as possible because transplanted organs do not last forever. If it works great, if not, I know what I am facing anyway.
With all this said, anyone who faces a chronic condition such as this will benefit from the positive sides of gh. I do not think I have to explain this. But I will give an example. Most 28 year old are high powered machines. I am a 4 cylinder car most days and more often than not I am a street scooter. My workouts for the last 2 years are just enough to keep me somewhat fit. I remember when I was a machine playing 90 minutes and then getting in a workout. Those were the days.
Goals:
"Feel" as healthy and look as fit as I can. I am not worried about putting on a lot of size and will not subject my body to high dosages. I want the well being effect, lose some bf, and gain a little strenght back. i want to look good again. If my renal function improves as well then it is a blessing.
Dosages and side effect control:
I want to ramp up slowly as I will probably be sensitive. I am already on meds to control blood pressure and unlike most renal patients I do not have trouble with bloat. But I have the proper meds should that arise. My diet is clean and I drink a lot of water. I am only allowed 3 cocktails a week and I stick to it.
Week 1 - 1.5iu or 2iu. Not sure where to start. I know the study subjects were starting at 1.5iu, but as mentioned they are much older. insert advice here? If I start at 2iu, I will then I will go with 2iu for aleast a month and ahalf and then build from there. I will "not" go more than 4iu a day at anytime of this cycle as the study is not taking the patients farther than that. I will run a 5/2 split for 6-8 months. This will all be on feel.
Anyway, thank you for reading. I will be starting next week and posting every week with updates. I might even throw some pics in there as well to see the transformation. There is a lot of discussion on this board about high hgh and low hgh dosages. Lets just see what happens. Just so you all know. I get my blood work done every 3 weeks. Anything funny arises and this side show is over. Wish me luck.

let me start by saying that i feel for you bro and if i were in you shoes i would be doing the exact same thing. with that said it would be irresponsible of me or any member to give someone with a chronic condition advice on medication not perscribed by your dr.
just look around and im sure you'll come up with all the answers you need. i wish you the best and hope this works out for you

Best of luck to you. I am 3 weeks into my first crack at GH. I started at 2iu (blue tops) and ran that for the first two weeks. Then I jumped it up to 4iu and have been running that with very few sides. A little sleepiness, slight tingle in the finger tips. My fingers feel like they swell a little while running but go back to normal as soon as my heart rate comes down. So far so good. I plan to run 4iu at least 6 months and see where I am at.
Regarding your kidney issues, my grandmother was the first patient in the world (yes world) to do home hemo-dialisys. That was in the early 70's. Medicine has come along way since then. Hope the GH buys you some time.

Week 1
Well, first week is almost in the books. running 2iu 5/2. Shots are going nice and easy. The gf who is a nurse has been doing them. I will do my first while I am away on business.
Not much to report thus far, which from what I read can be expected. I will say this though. I can see how people who do not typically run cycles experience some results the first couple of weeks. The mind is a powerful thing and when you know something is in your body you become more intuned with your workout, diet, and sleeping habits. This alone helps the newbies like me.
At any rate I will be reporting back every week with an update.

pls tell me that you know that gh has a large influence (directly/indrectly)by the renal and by the renin-angiotensin system. it increases the activity of the sodium pump in your kidney tubuli and leads to a higher sodium retention. are you trying to get an implant faster? because you r hjust on your way to do that....
