I hope each of you are good and well. Been around the boards for a couple of years. Mostly reading diet and exercise threads. I have decided to do an hgh cycle (reasons will be discussed) and I want this thread to be the log for weekly conversation of the trials and tribulations that are ahead.
First things first. Stats: 28, 6'0" 180, 15% bf. Ex-college soccer player. limited cycle experience. did a 12 wk deca/test cycle coming back from an acl tear and broken patella sophmore year.
Reasons: The reason for this cycle is simple. I was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease a long time ago. Now, most of you are thinking, what they hell is this guy doing? Let me explain. I feel fortunate enough to get some of the best health care money can buy. With that said, I was almost selected for a study involving certain types of renal diseases and hgh. I was not selected because of two reasons. One, my renal function become lower than the median (not a great thing). Two, I was 30 years younger than all of the subjects. One good thing about almost being part of the study I received a lot of information on gh. Good reading indeed. I even spoke with my Dr. the other day and asked how the study as was going. She told me that it is going very well and subjects are seeing improvement in renal function along with all the other benefits of gh. My situation is if I stay the current course I will need a transplant in a year or so. As you can read, I have nothing to lose and some things to gain. The goal is to put off the transplant as long as possible because transplanted organs do not last forever. If it works great, if not, I know what I am facing anyway.
With all this said, anyone who faces a chronic condition such as this will benefit from the positive sides of gh. I do not think I have to explain this. But I will give an example. Most 28 year old are high powered machines. I am a 4 cylinder car most days and more often than not I am a street scooter. My workouts for the last 2 years are just enough to keep me somewhat fit. I remember when I was a machine playing 90 minutes and then getting in a workout. Those were the days.
Goals:
"Feel" as healthy and look as fit as I can. I am not worried about putting on a lot of size and will not subject my body to high dosages. I want the well being effect, lose some bf, and gain a little strenght back. i want to look good again. If my renal function improves as well then it is a blessing.
