    Aspirating with Slen pen.

I'm using novorapid (humalog) right now, for injecting i've only used slin needles, with these I could inject IM because i could aspirate .

    I've now got these pens:

It's not possible to aspirate with these, but I prefer IM injections, are there any ideas how I could safely inject IM with the pen.
Injecting slin into the bloodstream would be close to direct BG lowering right?

You can still aspirate with slin pins but it's not necessary.

you kind of have to inject sub-q with those bro if you want to be 100% safe.

Please do not inject insulin IV. Stick to sub-q or IM.

I would not do that on purpose..only when I inject IM, wich i prefer, I don't want to hit a vain and go into coma.

The pen is very handy because you only have to screw on the needle, but you cant pull back the plunjer.

Yes of course you can't aspirate with those pens, but aspirating with insulin isn't necessary as I said above.
