    Novorapid longevity at room temp

Guys, I'm travelling a fair bit and wondered how long my slin can be stored at room temp. I've been leaving it if I'm away for a few days and going without after my workouts.

Wondered what fellas thoughts were on taking it with me and storing at ambient temp?

I've researched and have seen that short periods at room temp are okay, but not sure on half week in/half week out of fridge...

I think in the manual NovoRapid says that you can keep it at ambient temp for a couple of days.

Personally I have left it in my gym bag for a week at a time.

I don't get manuals form my source, lol!

Did you notice any drop off in effectiveness afterwards?

Okay, taken me ages to find, but one of those med sites says the following:
NovoRapid penfill cartridges, FlexPens and vials should be stored in their outer cartons in a refrigerator at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. Make sure the containers do not directly touch the freezer compartment. After opening they should be kept outside the fridge, but must be kept below 30°C. You should keep the cap on FlexPens that are not in use to protect the insulin from light. Any unused medicine should be discarded four weeks after the first use.

    Thanks for input fellas.
