Insulin Frequency
I've decided to give slin a shot, humilin R at 5iu PWO. Due to training so late in the evening, I'm not gonna run it during the week due to the system life and the time I go to bed. My plan is to run it every Sun since I train around noon. I carb cycle and Sun is also my Super high carb day, between 800-1000g total. My question.... If I only run it on Sun, could I run it for a total of 8 weeks then cycle off for 4 weeks?

Not worth doing, you won't notice any difference. It's very difficult to notice gains when using insulin ED let alone once per week. But to answer your question, I would say using insulin once p/week for 8 weeks straight is a pretty safe protocol.
Watch your carbs as any excess carbs will be stored as fat.

Thanks Gear, let me add that I plan on doing this the final 8 weeks of my test/ deca cycle. GH is being ran the entire 16 weeks as well and will be shot 30 min prior to the slin PWO.
With this being said, do you still feel the slin would worthless?
Another quick question.... if using humilin-r IM, how much quicker would the onset and peak be? My understanding is that humilin-r sub-q hits at the 30 min mark and peaks in 2 hrs.Last edited by unoigo; 09-06-2008 at 03:42 PM.

Even then, insulin once p/week won't really make any difference to your gains.
It will kick in a bit sooner, probably around the 20min mark.

Thanks for the feedback guys. So based on your experience what would be optimal as far as slin use? (days per week) From research I've gathered, it's best not to run it on back to back days. EOD or E3D seems to be the consensus. Do you agree with this?
