insulin IM injection question

to all of you !!
i wonder if i would inject the insulin IM to the site which i ve just trained;will it cause a faster absorbtion of insulin than injecting IM another site????And do IM injections affect the time of humulin R being in the blood system??(for example if i inject IM,then the action of Humulin R from the 6hours will drop to 3 hours and then i ll be clean of insulin????)

I don't believe there is any research stating that place shooting slin in the area trained will help. It's not igf-1 we're using here.
IM and Subq do affect time of effective slin. It's about 1 hr difference...at least for my humalog it is.
You want to take the shortest acting slin possible. So humalog IM would be the best route.
