10iu slin pwo same for every body part ?
taking 10iu slin and 100gms dextrose pwo, after say training legs i feel i need this amount of carbs, but what on smaller bodypart days, arms or shoulders or maybe just bicep and abs will 100gms dextrose always get used or should you cut the dosage on these days?

I do three time a week. Monday chest and shoulders, wed legs and calves, and Friday back. All other work outs I don't do. In those slin days I work my muscles hard and I also do about 15 to 20ius because I might be a little slin tolerant. The effects is different for everyone. I don't take a lot of carbs just a protien drink with 50g protein 50g carbs and keep a candy bar on the side if I need it. Only once did I feel dizzy thats because I didn't relax on the couch and went shopping with my wife because I had to.
You got to feel out tolerants to slin because if you stuff yourself to much you might get fat or bulk up to much.
Taking with hgh is also good to keep the fat down. 5 days 2 off

u must train 2 muscels of ur body evry workout day
by that way u will have more results from slin and take ur samble carb and be safe from fat

^^not true. i train 1 muscle group a day and shoot 10ius of slin as soon as im done. as for the dex., i take aroung 40g per 10ius but you need to find the dose that works best for you

ok work out whats best for you, i am doing 10iu 8gms per iu at the moment, on the smaller bodypart days i will stick with the 10iu protocol and do 50gms dex pwo and see how i feel.
PT was 40gms dex pwo the lowest you could go without getting hypo?

This is a difficult question to answer, but to cut the long answer short you need to take the amount you "feel" is necessary, meaning just enough to stay from going hypo. If you feel hypo symptoms then you need to take more carbs no matter if you're taking 100 or 200g of carbs. Just go by how you feel.

i know the purpose of slin is to drive nutrients into the muscle which i would think the more the better,now if 10iu and 40gms dex after a bicep workout and you felt no symptoms, i dont see how you could the same on a leg day and fully saturate the muscle

^^^thats not how it works, sorry. the more carbs the fatter you can get. yes slin will shuttle protein and carbs but we all know what to many carbs could mean. you can take 150g of dex with every shot but you sure the hell better not be cutting

i understand to many carbs will make you fat, and you said 40gms per 10iu is that always with every workout, because if i was to train say bis and forearms for 35 min my body could take in alot more carbs if i was to do a 1hr leg workout, or are we trying to push in a maximum amount of protein powder and min carbs , because if 40gms is ok for bis surely you would need more for legs

I don't think you quite understand how insulin works when it comes to how much carbohydrates to consume. There is no set rule on how much carbs to intake when using insulin, you simply take as much as you feel you physically need. Don't concentrate on how intense your workout was, instead concentrate on how you feel (eg. if you feel hypo then consume sugars, this can occur wether you train legs or bis, tris etc etc or wether you train for 30min or 1hr).
The key here is to consume the amount your feel is necessary goin by how you physcially feel.

thanks for that gear, so for the same amount of slin used every time, the same amount of carbs give or take a little would be used that i felt comfortable with regardless of what i did.
i thought it was simple math like drive your car 100miles use 1gallon drive it 50 miles use 1/2 gallon otherwise overflow(fat)Last edited by croctail; 03-02-2009 at 05:44 AM.

The math is all over the place when it comes to insulin use. One day you may need 10g per 1IU, the next day you may only need 5g per 1IU so there is no set formula to follow.
If you're a beginner I suggest you stick with 10g p/1IU and see how that feels. If all goes well try using 9g of carbs next time instead of 10g and see how that goes. Once again if all goes well try using 8g of carbs next time and so on till you start feeling hypo. Once you start to feel hypo then you know you haven't taken enough carbs which means you need to consume more carbs. As I said, go by how you feel.
