Naaa! I've been dealing with a Type I diabetic for years now. I spent my entire life dealing with Type IIs. The most likely scenario for your drop in glucose is that some Humalog was trapped and stored in some fat. Where did you inject it? My wife had this problem when she started getting super lean. She'd been injecting in her abdominal fat for YEARS. When she got lean, it started to kind of scar up. Once in awhile, out of the blue, she'd have a low hours after her last Humalog injection.

If you'd made yourself Type II, you'd have highs. Unless of course, you're taking glucoflage or some crap like that. Drink a juice and watch it for awhile. See your doc if you're really worried. But be ready to get an earfull over using Humalog.

Im not diabetes doc but im with ciscoguy.
you are used to eating often so your blood sugar got low from not eating. you had made your body is so accustomed to one certain routine, when it is taken out of the equation your body is going to react. Listen to your body and go eat some carbs

What is so bad about using Log for BB?
What would the doc tell me?

You should definetely be keeping a watch on your blood sugar. Insulin is no joke, I can tell you this first hand. At 38 you'd be going to the hospital if this was a medical call. Be safe and keep an eye on it. If your having major flucuations I wouldn't be staying on the slin.

As a diabetic your bg would be high, not low. If anything you are hypoglycemic. I'd stay off the slin and see if your levels normalize.

Unless in the states you use a different measuring system. I'm in Canada, but I doubt it. I work in emergency services and at calls the medics always check blood sugar levels. 4-7 is the normal range. Now if you have been fasting it will always be on the low end. But 38 is ridiculously high. Even if you have just ate being so young, that level is really up there. As I said before you have to really watch it.

*These BGL #'s are 100% accurate here in the USA... pretty sure everywhere else too. Most medical units are completely universal.

    Normal BGL = 80-120

    below 60 = bad

Most people go completely unconscious below 50, your lucky.

If you habitually eat every hour 1/2 - 2 hours and exert yourself between your next meal, it is possible to drop your BGL low enough to where you feel like you did. If you have a fast metabolism it doesn't take much to burn up your stored sugar.

Keep a closer eye on your meals and activity levels. If it happens again when you are eating all your meals when your supposed to and without any activity, then I would consider going to your Dr.

    my 2 cents

No, he's right. In Canada we measure in mM/L and in the states and elsewhere it's mg/dL. Same reading just different units.

Sorry bro I would of thought we would use the same measuring system. Also you guys are using home measuring devices. We have advanced units that do all kinds of different things. Good luck either way.
