Help with mixing my first HGH vial
I read the "must read" posts regarding measurement conversions of IU's, ML's etc. Perhaps I'm stupid, but I having a tough time translating what my doctor is instructing me how to mix and inject. I would like to make sure he's correct.
He wants me to inject 1.5 IU's per day. My HGH vials have 8 IU's of powder.
Here's his formula:
Inject 3ml of sterilized water into the vials
Inject 56 units into myself
Does the above formula equate to 1.5 IU's ????

Yeah, it seems right to me.
3ml=8ius so .56ml=1.5ius

That seems like a lot of extra un-needed water to me. I'd mix it with 0.8 cc (or 80 units) of water, then take 15 unit doses.
I mix 1 cc (100 iu) of bac water in my 10 iu vial at take 20 iu for a 2.0 unit dose.

guys sterile water? Bacteriostatic water. I am almost sure that the sterile water only lets the hgh last 24 hours. The Bacteriostatic water gives him 30 days. Is this true?

I always use bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol), comes in a 30 ml plastic bottle w/ rubber stopper. One bottle is plenty.
HGH mixed with bac water should stay good for at least 30 days. I keep my bac water in the refrigerator (in a ziploc baggie, then in a tupperware container), so the water is already cool when I mix it.
And I never shake it when I mix it, just gently roll the vial until it mixes.

I have 10 ius bottles. I put 1 cc in. and the bottle is 75% empty. why is it in such a big bottle if you only need so little water?

I suppose that the bottle size works well for the HGH manufacturer. A smaller bottle may be more costly to fill and/or cap. It's also easier to mix with space to roll around the water.
What I don't like is the solid rubber cap on the HGH vials, which will dull the needle. That forces me to use more expensive BD gear, because cheap gear dulls and can be quite uncomfortable, to the point of bruising after going through the rubber top before the injection.

You could mix up you own bac water by adding a very small amount of benzyl alcohol to your sterile water. My bac water has 0.9% benzyl alcohol (less than 1%). Your sterile water should last long enough if kept refrigerated.
