    slin stored in fridge

    my slin has been in the fridge for like 5 months ago,its a slin pin and i used it before,is it ok to use it now or not?is it still effective?

    so long as it has not been out of the fridge and is within its expiry date it should be fine, once insulin is taken out of a fridge (temp exceeding 2-8c) it can be stored at room temp for 28 days

    You want to use the same needle twice?, is that what you are asking. How about trying to form sentences with punctuation, that way it might be easier to understand what you are trying to reiterate .

    once opened and in use insulin should not be stored in fridge, should be at room temp for 28 days

    Really? I have always kept my stored in the fridge even after opening

    Is the expiration ok on it?
    If its been kept cold,,,bet its fine.

    some manufacturers recommend this, but it is better to keep cool at all times. it will last about a month as you stated at room temp and will have less "sting" and less chance of air bubble formation if warmer. but its definitely more stable being refrigerated.
