    Sinus surgery and gh?

Gonna go to surgery for my nose and sinuses next fri, recovery time is expected to b a week. I have been on gh for 2 month at 5 ius. Starting my cycle as soon as I'm recovered. My question would it b ok to keep doing the gh before n after the surgery or should I stop a few days prior to surgery. Thanx

    It wont hurt anything lol
I had mine done 2 or 3 weeks ago. BTW the recovery time is more like 12 hrs lol
I have ZERO pain, not like when I had it done 20 years ago. I got the vicadine and the refill they gave me of course and have it stored for future use, just in case... I'm sure Ill use it due to the 3 herniated disks though

Is your blood pressure high now? It doesnt thin your blood, that would be the only concern and if you are really worried about it stop for a week, it wont hurt anything either way.

Oh yeah, I need to go back for a follow up apt. lol

Why? What are they doing? I had all 4 passage ways opened up due to them being screwed up from my surgery (deviated septum) 20 years ago. My sinuses where not draining properly so they had to go in and open up the passages (rotor rooter them out) and also drain all the infection out. I was 80% plugged up according to 2 cat scans.

I had no tubes, no packing or anything like that this time. Have you asked other docs about this? There are still some old school doctors out there.

bro thanx for ur response, it seems like the same surgery as mine, they r clearing up all the four sinuses to drain properly and fixing my deviated symtom on the right side of my nose, im guessing the two tubes r to make sure they heal properly. Btw wehre r u from and where did u get ur surgery done?

Im in/near Seattle WA, how about you?

I would get a 2nd opinion. Sounds like your doc is old school. Not that it's bad but finding someone who is more up to date makes a HUGE difference. I had very little blood, only a gauze taped under my nose for about 6 hrs after surgery. 90% of the bleeding was stopped just hours after surgery, I did not wear the gauze the next day at all and in 2 or 3 days I was able to clean out all the excess inside and looked/felt 99.9% normal.

There is NO regulations on forcing a doctor/surgion to use the latest techneques or tools as long as it is not life threatening.
Mine also did 2 cat scans before surgery. The last one had multiple points/cross hairs on it for location purposes for him. It was all done with camera and computers so he constantly knew his exact location.

I could have easily gone back to work the next day but I had a 4 day weekend anyways. I did do everything normal the next day, went to the store, shopping, had another/different doc apt and was in the gym working out 3 days later without any problems.

With any surgery tell your doctor if you are taking AAS as they can effect blood clotting times. GH shouldnt be any issues unless your blood pressure is sky high from it..which is unlikely

I think it was like 1 1/2 hrs, maybe 2 but yeah the cat scan pin pointing thing sounds like what mine did.

Well good luck with it all. Like I said, I had no tubes, no packing inside and no pain after, only very slight discomfort.

DAMN, sorry to hear it was so rough for you. I think I got lucky with my dock. I never even felt queezy/sick or anything. I even went grocery shopping that night.

Glad to hear you are doing better. Keep your head elevated when laying down, I'm sure you know.

    Good luck, fast recovery
