Injecting am or pm that is the question

    Hi guys

im currently injecting at 0700hrs as soon as i get up i have read that injecting just before i go to bed is the best time to inject but it can stop my natural gh kicking in.
does this mean it stops my natural gh only whiles im on hgh or will my natural gh be affected once ive stopped.

    all info received gratefully cheers.

It only stops your natural gh pulses while your taking it.

The only time I would suggest doing your shot at night is if your over 45, if you have a GH deficiancy or if your doing more than 8ius/day.

Did you do a baseline IGF-1 level test before you started? That would be the best way to tell your natty GH levels. If it was low I'd say you'd be better off doing your shots at night. I personally had low levels due to my kidney failure so I always shot before bed and in the morning.

45years is really just a best guess at what age natty production really starts to decline. It might be sooner or later depending on the person. How many iu's are you doing?

I started out at doing it when I woke up in the morning. When I did it at this time I felt tired during the day and couldn't get a good workout in. I switched to doing it before bed and that was the trick for me. Even when IGF-1 levels are low your body still is producing some and that some is during sleep. I think if you can handle either it would be best as soon as you wake up in the morning to avoid interfering with natural production.

If i were you, i would have 2 iu first thing in the morning and 2 iu in early afternoon when cortisol levels are high.

For your schedule and at your age, I would just go ahead and inject all 4IU's very first thing in the morning. As has already been mentioned, your cortisol levels start raising over the night and early morning, and peak to their highest levels about the time of early morning, so this will help in that regard. The other thing is that your body has given you all of the endogenous HGH you are going to get for a while over the night, so the negative feedback is going to already keep your own HGH at bay for a while. Sneaking in an injection during this window of time is going to have the least impact on your body's own triggers and release schedule. An exogenous administration of HGH is going to create/extend your negative feedback loop for a time ... that time window has been theorized at anywhere from 4 hours to most of a day depending on the study you look at. That being the case, piggybacking on your body's own natural negative feedback loop created with its HGH release during sleep will cause the absolute minimal disruption in your body's own cycle.

When you reach your 50's and beyond, or if your pituitary just doesn't produce any HGH of its own, then taking your injection at bedtime is fine. For normal, healthy adults in their earlier years, bedtime is a question mark. Since early morning works just fine and gives you all the benefits possible from your HGH, that would be the smarter way to approach your cycle at this point in life. At some point your own endogenous production of HGH will drop off to the point that it is negligible. At that point in life, timing becomes much less of an issue. Even then though, the early morning to combat high cortisol levels is still not a bad plan of attack.
