Help: On TRT--should I switch to hgh?
I've been on various levels/protocols of trt for the last 15 months. I'm currently on the equivalent of 15 gm of androgel per day and .25 adex EOD. The problems I've had include (a) some gyno that started about three months after starting trt and (b) hairloss. The hairloss actually started about 9 months ago and led me to discontinue the test for a couple of months. I went back on when I realized I felt better on it. About two months ago I started adex for high E (it's helped a bit with the gyno), but now my hair has started falling out worse than ever! This may be due to the increase in T, the addition of the adex or a combination of both. I like the effects of TRT including mild to moderate improvements in energy, weight training, libido and ED. So I hate to abandon it altogether.
Anyway, my IGF-1 was VERY low when I had it tested a few months back.
My questions: Might I get many of the benefits of TRT by switching to HGH WITHOUT the hair loss? Might HGH actually help me regrow my hair? I'm not that interested in building muscle so what dose of HGH would I use to get positive effects on libido, energy, etc. Would it still help to supplement with small dosages of Test or hcg (not enough to promote additional hair loss) along with the HGH?
I'm at a crossroads here so thanks for your help.
