    Plates Fused?

    I am 25yrs old turning 26 in October would my plates be fused by now or is it no t probably til I'm 30??

    Growth plates can fuse at different rates. Normally the smaller ones in your wrists can fuse faster than the ones in your legs or spine. Your height is primarily determined by the length of the bones in your legs and spine. The growth plates fuse shortly after puberty. Testosterone increases the growth rate as well fuse the growth plates. If you're past puberty, at 26 I'm assuming you're past puberty, your growth plates have fused.

    If your objective is to grow taller I've seen on Discovery Channel how Chinese doctors are cutting shin bones and thigh bones and lengthening them out 1mm/day. They're making people taller 1inch/month. I guess that's a HUGE deal if you're a man 5'4" and want to marry a "tall" girl that's 5'6". I'm waiting for Discovery Channel to show Chinese doctors cutting peckers off and lengthening them 1in/month. LOL Sorry to digress. LOL
