Why do I keep getting bruises around injection sites?

I have been taking GH injections twice per day for a 1 1/2 weeks now and have like 4 little green bruises around my lower stomach where I am injecting.

I always pinch the fat to inject and it never hurts.

    How can I avoid this?

I'm using the terumo 1 cc 29g syringes and I thought they are pretty good. There definitely not cheap.

every pin dulls a bit after it's put through the rubber stopper. if you like the terumo's, perhaps you could change out the pin after loading and inject with a fresh needle.

the insulin pins that i use are one piece units, so that's not an option.

The Terumos that I have are also one piece.

Sometimes I use the same needle for both my AM and PM injection and that could be possibly why I'm bruising with the needle dulling from the rubber stopper.

that's the likely cause of your bruising.. plus you're asking for an infection by reusing old pins.

Well, I always disinfected it with an alcohol wipe but, since it it's dull from earlier use....that probably is what is causing the bruising and I think I'll just use them one time and see if the bruising quits.

I bruise sometimes when I hit a blood vessel near the belly button. Stay about 4 inches radius away from the belly button there's less blood vessels there.

I had a similar prob from the time you mix the water/powder it has a shelf life after a certain number of days the hormone dies and what you inject at that point is attacked by your body if you notice small painful bruises and possibly a not its time to move on to another vial.

It happened after the second day I started taking GH. I never leave a reconstituted vial in fridge longer than 10 days....and it is supposed to be good for up to 10 days if mixed with BW(like mine is.

Did you try IM like alextg suggested? Are you getting the same bruising?

Now that you mention it....no I don't bruise anywhere else except around my stomach for the sub Q injections.
Guess I'll be doing more injections elsewhere from now on.
