    copy and pasted from wikipedia,
In addition to increasing height in children and adolescents, growth hormone has many other effects on the body:

Increases calcium retention, and strengthens and increases the mineralization of bone
Increases muscle mass through sarcomere hyperplasia
    Promotes lipolysis
    Increases protein synthesis
Stimulates the growth of all internal organs excluding the brain
Plays a role in fuel homeostasis
    Reduces liver uptake of glucose
    Promotes gluconeogenesis in the liver[22]
Contributes to the maintenance and function of pancreatic islets
    Stimulates the immune system

At this time hGH is still considered a very complex hormone and many of its functions are still unknown.

From a more empirical perspective, I find HGH to increase my overall wellness and fitness. I've been on 5iu/ed for a year and a half. My ability to concentrate has also gotten better. I'm 50 and I really feel the effects of HGH. Good stuff.

It depends on what you're after. I'm 50 so I'm not training to be a BB. I want to be healthy and enjoy my life. HGH is an awesome compound for that goal. If you want to impress the women at the pool AAS is a much wiser choice. If you want to lose weight and be more healthy a good diet and cardio regiment is the thing. It all depends on what you're trying to accomplish with your body and your lifestyle.

thanks scotchguard, that was the main reason behind the question. I just turned 30 last saturday, but i already worry about not being able to go to the gym, sex life, muscle mass(lean), memory all those things men tend to worry about. I don't have problems with anything now. Its in the media alot with athletes so i still don't know why they benefit so much without a form of testosterone.

30? oldschool, you're still a pup. Consistency is the key to long lasting health. Just go to the gym, which is easier said then done. They only time I didn't go to the gym was when I was so sick I couldn't get out of bed. I can still exercise with my college aged son and make his friends puke. If you do a little everyday you body and mind will be healthy for a long long time.
