    Calculation Help Using Saizen

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Goal;
    Taking a lifelong trip on GH/ mostly for anti aging
    Did necessary blood work / keeping track of my GH levels presently 190/ goal: 250
    I got my doctor to write and supply with what I calculated to be a six month supply of Saizen.
    Outside box says 8mg
    Inside leaflet says reconstitution with the contents of the bacteriostatic solvent cartridge gives a concentration of 5.83 mg per ml.

    Question:
    Should I be calculating the iu's based on the outside or inside quantity ?

    Both could be right, depending on how much dilutent is used to mix it.

    saizen 8 mg. will be 24IU per vial. If you add 2.4 ml water, each 10 on an insulin pin will be 2.4 iu's. Hope that helps.
