Packing vial for 5 hour road trip advice please

Any tips on how much ice or ice-pack when traveling in the car for 5 hours? And what about pre-filling a few syringes to avoid packing the vial. Would love traveling ideas---tips--keeping vial or syringes cold and if okay to pre-fill some syringes and keep them cold or is this not a good idea after all.

Preload a syringe. Put the syringe in a hard eye glasses case. Keep it cool under the AC or somewhere and you're good to go.
