Why are you taking HGH right before bed?

a little sugar is ok in the protein it acts to trigger insulin reaction and allows the amino acids to enter blood stream. Insulin also unlocks the fat and allows it to be burned. Take your HGH in the am and an hour or so after dinner.

    Not Small is right...
I think ScotchGuard got the information backwards.

And HGH it's injected in the MORNING... Not before bed...

6 grams of carbohydrates is nothing.

Give yourself about an hour+ after injecting in the morning before eating.

I would allow an hour before and after of no carbs, that's fairly common

Insulin is the LAST thing you want in your system when trying to burn fat.

This is not cut in stone, it is simply message board bro-logic that has been passed on and passed on until it became lore.
The argument is that injecting at bedtime will block our bodies largest natural pulse that occurs while we sleep and whilst this make alot of sense if you are running low doses around 2-4iu it is my opinion that once you get up to higher doses 8-10iu that nighttime pulse becomes almost negligeable especially when you consider that there is probably a very good reason our bodies release a large pulse of GH at night - because that's when it works best!

^The above is obviously just my opinion

^ I think that's an important distinction - I quite regularly see people stating that no food should be consumed around GH shots whereas to my knowledge it is only carbs that need be avoided - anyone got any information to the contrary?

I haven't seen anything to the contrary, but the OP specifically stated that he consumes carbs in the morning.

Yeah I wasn't questioning the advice you gave to the OP, just clarifying the fact that carbs are the issue as opposed to food as recently I have seen alot of people confusing the issue and stating that food should be avoided around GH shots.

As far as I know, it's just the carbs that are the issue due to the insulin resistance that the HGH causes after the injection. I know my blood sugar spiked significantly higher after my HGH injection when I did a blood test comparison both with and without HGH.

Not sure why u are taking a protein shake early unless you work out in 30 min or so from taking it...any sugar you add starts an insulin reaction and after your HGH shot you have what is called temp. insulin resistance, meaning your body has a harder time to clear the sugar from your blood, hence the recommendation is to fast 2 hrs before and 1 hr after your shot. 2 hrs is the normal clearance time for glucose if your healthy and not pre-diabetic or diabetic. that is why most say it is best to take the shot upon rising this is when your glucose levels are lowest. best time to do cardio then too if you want to burn fat...

why not wait till 30 min before you go to work out to do your shake, then take some more right after the workout...

Yes your opinion but it is also a very good one...

Just like saying lets jab testosterone because in the morning is when its highest if your using enough you will be shut down... So at night along with other times say 3 times a day like people i know would be best....

Depends how much you are tkaing though and if you are getting shutdown...

But we know repair happens in our sleep so GH before bed makes alot of sense...
