I've never used insulin before but have been researching it for a while now. Should your shake consist of dextrose only or a normal dextrose/whey mix? Also do you drink it immediately after your shot or is it better to wait 10-15 minutes? Thanks

What type of slin are you planning on using?
I would suggest you become an absolute friggin expert before you start pinning slin, mate! And who's your backup incase something happens? People die from this sh1t
Yes, slin can be dangerous.
But if you know what you're doing, it's fairly safe.
This is great advice! If you don't know the basics of what to take when, you could be in a world of shit when it hits you the wrong way. When I was "experimenting" with slin my girlfriend knew almost as much as I did, because if I couldn't help myself she had to know about the signs and glucose tablets to keep me from going into shock. Tread lightly.
When the time comes I plan on using humalin R. I feel that I know a good bit about it since I deal with them at work quite often (paramedic). That's definitely a good idea to have a "safety person" though. I'll definitely keep that in mind. So what do you guys think about the timing? Thanks
Some protocols say to
A:
Inject then 5 mins later have a dextrose shake then 10 mins later have a whey shake.
or
B:
Inject then immediately have a dextrose/whey shake.
Im just curious as to which would be the better option. I do know that sugar is mandatory immediately after an insulin injection but is it ok to mix it with protein? Why would some people wait another 10-15 mins to have the whey shake?
