I read alot and I am fully aware of the hypo-case....certainly I want to avoid it in the following..

Ill take Lantus (25-30iu) as a long-acting on a daily basis. Humalog in addition on training days only (short-acting)pwo 10iu and PRE-wo 15iu.
As supplement, a isowheyprotein shake with 80-100g as aminosupply and instead of 1.5l bottle of water, while training, I mix 1l water with 500ml of grapejuice and take it to the gym. It has a lower GI than dextrose, but should work aswell, for avoiding peaks, right? Otherwise I'll mix malto19 to the water if its the preferable opt, I want to avoid peaks as far as possible.

Now my plan: inject 15iu prewo right at the gyms toilett, drink half of the Protein shake and take the bottle of water (w.grape/malto19) with me. At the beginning I'll have some dextrose with me in case of need. After the training, which takes about 3-4hours I take another shot of 10iu, drink the rest of the Protein shake and take a shower.

I will experiment with the carb/insulin relation to get into a moderate ketosis and get to a good anabolic state of the body which is the main prio for me. For this case I want to take metformine aswell (1-3 850mg ed) which also should highten the insulin sensivity of the receptors. I'll measure my BG on a regular base and if everything's fine, I will up the lantus with the time.

questions to the experienced athlete
- would you recommend to just take a higher dose of lantus on train-days instead of pre/postwo humalog
- does it make sense to add ALA, Glutamin and Creatine?
- does met reduce peaks of short-slin?
- which glucose do you prefer of the to I've written about?
- any more ideads what to add/remove are welcome

I am startin this soon btw
