Post ACL Reconstruction IGF-1 and HGH Use- PROS ONLY

Can someone please give me some detailed reccomondations of how to cater my igf-1 and HGH use post surgery. I am getting my ACL reconstructed this week and have access to both. I have used both HGH and IGF-1 before however never for this use. My previous dosage for IGF-1 was post workout in muscle trained at 50mcg per side and as far as HGH use i have used all sorts of methods from pre bed time to post workout to early morning depending on my goals. I am a pro-athelete however would not like to add any more detail. Thanks guys in advance!

I just re-read your OP and realized that this might not be what you were after...but I will leave this info anyway....

as far as dosing time? many here adhere to the EARLY AM dosing to help blunt your cortisol. One method used is to get up in the wee hours of the morning and pin and then go back to sleep for a couple/few hours. If this is not something you want to do...then pin right when you get up in the morning but make sure you wait to eat for an hour..especially carbs since, if not, it could mess with your insulin/ glucose levels.

Bedtime dosing is usually not eagerly recommended since your natural growth pulse happens during your first few hours of sleep and there is a theory that pinning at this time could potentially have a negative effect on your natural pulse.

If you want to separate your doses...as in 2x's a day....then EARLY AM and then again early afternoon when your cortisol levels are back up again.

I have been taking HGH for some time. I have osteoarthritis in my left knee. I had knee reconstruction 34 year ago and it's been bone to bone since then. Lots of wear in there. I've tried a lot of things for my knee including, glucosamin/chondroiden (sp?) about 10 years, cissus about two years, HGH about two years, deca/eq/test cycle, anavar cycle and they all seem to help a little. I've been researching a more dramatic procedure of injecting HGH/IGF directly into the knee to promote collagen stimulation. The theory is that the HGH/IGF will provide direct stimulation in the knee where the circulation is poor and the effects of IM or subQ injections of HGH is minimal. The issue I haven't been able to figure out is how many shots of HGH/IGF would promote collagen regeneration? Oh, and what would happen to your tendon/ligament if more than 4 shots (max recommended by ortho per year) of HGH/IGF is injected into the knee. There isn't a whole lot of material that I could find which backs the theory of injection HGH/IGF directly into the knee. I don't know of any clinical study that was done. However, 1) I'm desperate for relief, and 2) I have read enough theory to suggest that this procedure might work. I guess the safest thing to do would be to subQ or IM the HGH injections. You might also want to look at a low dose deca/EQ cycle which promote collagen growth. I'm still gong to research the HGH/IGF directly into the knee. If I proceed with this procedure I'll document and post. Good luck.
