Im stopping Dec 1st and that will put me at 5weeks on. Ill take all of Dec off and start back Jan 1st again.
Great post. It's nice to hear these types of things first hand rather than just an article!
What's your total weight gain so far? And is there a reason to drinking your carb shake 20 min after pinning? I was told the sooner the better.

Haven't taken Slin in over a year but I plan too soon. I also waited about 15 mins or so to take my Dextrose because that's when I felt the insulin was active in my body. I had a glucometer but after a while you can feel the early signs of hypoglycemia. I love slin and can't wait to take it now with the GH.

Do you workout in the AM after your slin shot and meal? I plan on taking slin twice a day this time instead PWO. I hear the results are better!

Everyone is worried about fat
I was worried about becoming diabetic... Am I wrong
The becoming a diabetic part is true... thats why you can only stay on 4-6 weeks TOPS and 6 is pushing it. Im stopping at 5. Fat is basically dependant on your diet especially within the 4 hours after what you eat after your shot.
I workout in the afternoon. However, I do a slin shot as soon as I wake up to force the nutrients that I eat within the next few hours into my body. I workout ab 6-8 hours after my morning slin shot.
I wait 20min after my slin shot to drink my dextrose to give the slin some time to work its way into my system. I feel that if i drink my dextrose too soon within my shot, I digest it too quickly before the slin is in my system so basically you can become hypo bc the carbs are already gone.
My total SCALE weight gain is about 8lbs. However, ive lost 1.5" off my waist so alot more than 8lbs of solid muscle has been gained. On top of that, Im clearly thicker all over.

So why doesn;t everyone run slin cycles instead of test? (Srry for interupting your threads with questions, I can just tell that you have done your research)
4 more days left on slin then a month off. It seemed like it took forever to build up to 10iu post workout though. So when I start back on Jan 1st, Ill start at alot higher IU than I did for my first time. I started at 4iu and only increased after 3 consecutive workouts then I had my off days, so it took almost 3 weeks to get to 10iu. Ill start at 6iu Jan 1st I think.

Ok so my 5 week run of slin is over. Last night was my last 10iu shot post workout. I have this to say... out of the 4 or 5 times I did 10iu post workout... I went hypo all but 1 time. Or at least the initial feelings of it. I even was doing 100g dextrose 20min after my shot. It was only at 10iu I had this problem at. Im wondering if the higher you get in iu increases the requirement of dextrose/simple carbs. Meaning, it is not proportional past a certain amount in your body. I was easily getting away with 8g dextrose per IU all the way up to 10iu and then it changed. At 10iu pwo, it seems 10g per iu is still not enough. I will adjust accordingly Jan 1st when I start again.
All in all, I loved slin. I especially loved how I felt with my morning shot. Most anabolic ive ever felt. Im considerably harder, rounder and thicker, although only 8lbs gained on the scale overall, I lost 1" off my waist so alot more was gained. Hope you guys got some good info on my slin run and learned a bit. Thanks for reading guys!
Please continue this if/when you start back up. It has been very useful for me.
I will start this thread again January 1st when I start slin again. This go around, I will start probably at 7iu, and jump straight to 10iu, and go as high as 15-20iu. Also, instead of keeping my iu at 5 every morning, I will bring that up to 10iu. Ive also thought about possibly a pre-workout slin shot as well, then a post. But that may be too close together and timing would be critical.
great thread and read im gonna do a heap of research into slin very interesting the gains and the 1inc off the waist just shows done properly can be awesome gains..
LAYEAZY, I started a new Round 2 Insulin thread with before and after pics of this threads insulin run.
Ok...in anyone's opinion. Slin usually isn't a topic in Figure competitors. I've actually have never come across any competitors who have done it in the past. And....seems like none want to discuss. I assume....uneducated in the substance.
So; in any of you gentleman's thoughts...what do you think in regards to a Figure competitor using insulin? I've always wanted to try...but have been hesitant in the past.
IMO, not something you should try with competing for Figure.
