good question. Because your heaviest growth pulse is in the first hours of sleep at night. And at 29 you already produce a lot then. So you do not want to mess with that one. Because if you start to rely on the synthetic for a nighttime pulse then you could get a negative feedback loop.
But I agree, it does not make sense since going back to bed and sleeping again. I think it has to do with the fact that the nighttime one is the BIG MAJOR pulse which is usually 2 hours into sleep. But wait for a better explanation and I would like one as well.

plus the early AM does help to blunt that cortisol

If you get up at 6, i'd just have the shot then. It's better than breaking up your sleep. I personally think an hour is a long time to wait to eat, half an hour will be fine, just stay away from simple carbs.

Here's a cut from another forum where someone asked DatBtrue(a highly respected guy when it comes to gh and peptides) if he should wait to eat after a gh shot:

Nope. GH is active straight away. GH-receptor expression will be increased immediately and the insulin is not high enough and chronic enough to effect GH-receptor translocation (i.e. movement to the cell surface). Insulin does however aid the synthesis of GH-Receptors.

GH will instigate synthesis of IGF-1 but this is not a one off. IGF-1 should already be elevated from continued GH use. Its like keeping an inflated balloon in the air by pushing it up every time if falls down to shoulder level. Each GH dose is like swating IGF-1 back up. As long as you dose GH regularly IGF-1 won't (like the balloon) hit the floor. So IMHO forum-logic concerning GH timing & IGF-1 creation is flawed.

Food won't interfere with GH's actions of binding to a receptor and mediating growth events such as IGF-1 synthesis in the liver & synthesis in muscle. But even if for some reason it were by the time you get the meal made and ingested the GH will have already binded to the receptors and initiated the first wave of events.

So you're fine doing it the way you propose.

    interesting info DCannon

then I wonder why so many suggest to stay away from carbs near injection time thinking it effects glucose/insulin

Gh and SIMPLE carbs too close together CAN lead to hyperglycemia. What I posted was just saying that eating close to your gh shot doesn't blunt gh conversion to igf-1, as many believe.

and actually, eating will increase your insulin level, which is highly anabolic with gh. Just try to stay away from simple carbs/sugars.

i like that ballon analogy ... ok so it actually makes it highly anabolic hmmm i like that ... makes sense actually... so whats an example of a great meal to eat to make it the most anabolic ... thats what i want to know!??

I'd just try to make sure you get some protein and complex carbs. Ex. chicken and brown rice.
