You want to make sure you're consuming just enough carbs for recovery, no more or less. It may take some experience first before you know how much carbs your body needs.

Getting a blood glucose monitor can assist in fine tuning your carb intake.

    Good luck!

ok to start with , insulin is a STORING hormone. so it shuttles nutrients from the blood, to the cells.

so , what happens when lipids (FATS) are present in the blood while insulin is active ? thats right, its stores it.

so , for the few hours prior to your slin injection avoid fats.

same goes for after injection, for 4 hours (if using humalog) after your slin injection avoid fats...

After Inject 8 i.U - 2 scoops of whey protein + 60 grams of dextrose.
After one hour I will have 30 grams of protein from cottage cheese 1% fat with 30 grams of Complex carbs.

Is this your first run at slin? Where did 8iu come from? That what you plan on starting with? Why only 60g dextrose with 8iu??

Id like to see what your answers are to those first.

    Yes, First time on slin.
    8 I.U because I'm 105 kilo on 10-12 % fat.
Only 60 grams of carbs because I'm afraid to get fat.

    I start on 2 I.U and after every workout (which is every day) I add 1 I.U until I reach 8 I.U.
