Yes sir. Some how I always jump into your post. The reason for the whatman filters is to ensure it is sterile. The vinegar and water, although you could drink both, may not be cometely sterile, and could possibly grow bacteria in the vial or maybe go as far as causing infection after injection. The filter really helps to sterilize it. Hopefully more people will chime in on this so you have some different opinions as well.

I trust your opinion and always appreciate your input.
I was just being lazy. I have everything else but the filter.
Couldn't of course find it locally so will just wait for order.
    Thanks again

kel, use a .22um filter it'll filter pretty fast because everything's water based and it'll filter out the bacteria. Whatman's what I use. The AA injection of IGF feels like wasp sting. You can pull your IGF into the syringe then pull a little BW after it. The BW dilutes the sting and it doesn't feel so bad. The first time I pinned my calf, I though I got stung by a bee and ripped the pin out of my leg. Scared me. I got used to it after a while and I don't even mix BW anymore. Just inject slow and it doesn't hurt much.
