I have to explain to endo why my blood sugar was 28.

Had to take a fasting blood test the next day. Woke up pinned 10iu of slin. Did my workout (still fasting). Then gave blood I don't go hypo much even at around 20iu but never the less the Dr was blowing up my phone ordering me to get too the nearest ER my blood sugar was 28. By that time I was already pounding shakes/carbs & feeling good but I have a f/u with her & don't know what to say other than I busted my ass working out that evening and morning w/ no chow. Or do I have this twisted & I maybe in some trouble health wise? I never been hypo.

They did a random blood glucose on you? Or was it one of those glucometers (fingerstick?) There was a recall a few days ago of some test strips for glucose which were reading low.

With a blood glucose level of 28 you should have been feeling something off. I suspect a lab error, and you should tell your doc that you weren't feeling weak, headache, problems thinking, etc.

Get a repeat blood glucose level..blood draw, not a fingerstick and see where you are.
