IGF-1 helps develop new muscle tissue. Steroids takes existing muscle tissue and makes them bigger (hypertrophy). Steroid effects are much faster, matter of weeks. IGF-1 effects takes weeks or months depending on the dosage. IGF, via HGH, has a lot of other beneficial sides like better memory, fat loss, higher body metabolism, etc. Steroids also has good side effects like sense of well being but also seem to have more negative side effects (these have happened to me) like acne and hair growth. I've never had acne or hair growth with HGH being used alone. HGH is expensive and steroids are more affordable. If you're strictly looking at muscle growth as the comparison, yes, they both grow muscles. But they are two different beasts.
Igf-1 while on a cycle would b a killer combo bro!
Please correct me if I am wrong, but IGF on the molecular level doesn't necessarily make more muscle cells unless you are taking the 8IU-12IU muscle building range from at least a year. Taking even 2IU for a minimum of 6 months doesn't make more muscle cells.
