Growth Hormone Receptor Deficiency Is Associated with a Major Reduction in Pro-Aging
Has anyone read the article in the NY Times "Ecuadorean Villagers May Hold Secret to Longevity". It basically goes on to say these villagers live longer, have no cancer or diabetes and it's directly related to very low IGF-1 levels.

This is some pretty shocking stuff ! Or am I reading too much into it ?

I read a study done about longevity of residents living in Okinawa, Japan. The average villager lived well beyond 100 years. The theory was the simple farm life including the diet a raw veggies and little meat and regular exercise in the fields. The researchers also found that the community living, where neighbors were concerned for one another, built and emotional bonding to the villages which led to emotional stability. The people who lived there were poor but lived contented and long lives. The two studies above were also interesting.

hey..i suffer from hgh deficiency for 2008. i'll heal thanx to the insulin -induced hypoglycemia test in hospital. I got tha deficiency because i run hgh alone w/o slin. so ,i've got thyroid and hgh and igf-1 issues. slin will be the cure. this monday the 21th ,docs will submit me for(under? how in English please??LOL) that test. they will use 9iU of slin . i'm 200pounds.
