HGH long term benefits....?Are there any?

I've been reading posts on the board here concerning HGH. I am wondering (personally), what are the long term benefits to running HGH? I have seen a lot of people say you will loose all your gains over time once you come off of it. So where is the actual benefit of cycling HGH when you will eventually loose it all. I mean the stuff I can get is pharmaceutical grade and it is not cheap. So am I really just waisting my money? Help me out if I am missing something here. As I am trying to experiment with different cycles to see what works best for me...

Hgh gains are permenant, you lose them once you come off sounds stupid. If you keep your diet and training up then your fat loss/muscle gain will be permenant.

I'll give you my opinion since nobody else will.

The BF reduction, anti-aging benefits, immune system boost, and amazing sleep with vivid dreams all seem to stop or decline upon discontinuing GH supplementation.

The new muscle tissue (hyperplasia) gained from higher doses of GH seems to be permanent.

Also, pain from previous injuries that I thought was permanent, seems to have healed.

Thanks guys, that is more along the lines of what I was thinking. Stay in the mix keep training and you will keep everything. I have had some injuries, so the idea of healing properties sounds good. How long should it be ran for optimization? I have read at least 6mos+....And would you guys say the benefits are better than a normal AAS cycle? Or about the same?
    Thanks Hartman and Calgary..

I think new muscle cells are permanent.
6 months is the suggested time to run hgh to see some REAL benefits....

And as far as losing gains, I think this applies more to AAS. There are benefits of doing both together. A lot of guys like to start out with the hgh to create new muscle cells and then add AAS later on (continuing with the HGH) to build up the new muscles all the more.

I was thinking along those lines, of possibly combining AAS in the mix. I have some old injuries and it would be nice to gain some ground on them. After all I am not getting any younger..

This forum is the FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH........

before you add the AAS make sure to get some suggestions as to good timing on this....my guess? 3 months into it...but that is a guess.....

also....look/research including t-4 .....did you read Redbaron's thread?

Here's my .02 I've been on HGH for over two years. I feel wonderful emotionally and physically. I don't think HGH is a "cycle" compound. For me, it's a lifestyle change. The HGH pulses in your body is permanent. Well, until it tapers off due to age. Without the natural HGH pulses you don't get the benefits of HGH. Why would it be any different for synthetic HGH? I plan to be on HGH for the rest of my life. I budget for it every month and plan my travel to accommodate it. If one was purely interested in the anabolic nature of HGH and want to use it for BB, then I would say that it would be a minimum of a six month cycle. If one wants to experience the beneficial sides of HGH, you have to stay on it forever.

Ok, I will look into timing of bringing in AAS, as well as research T4. I have not read his thread, but I take it I should. I will look for it.
    Thanks SlimmerMe

I would want to see it's effects first. I have a friend who is in his mid 60's and was told he was going to have to have shoulder surgery, that is until he went on HGH... Now he feels fine with no nagging shoulder injury anymore. That is what made me look into it in the first place... I think I might start out with a 6-8 month cycle or so. The pharmaceutical stuff I can get is just way too expensive to stay on it too much longer than that, thanks for your perspective though.
