Exclamation HGH/T4 or T3 when epileptic

    Hi guys,

It's been like ages I haven't posted around.

To start with, here are my stats
    28 yo
    215 lbs
    5'9"
    roughly 10% BF
Been lifting seriously for 7 years now

Gear already been on? EQ, Test enth, Anavar , Dbol , Win.....but quit a whole 2 years after deciding to stay out an clean my system....then It's now been 3 months i'm on GHRP6 alone, 600 mcg ED and was planning on throwing in some HGH, @ 6 IU ED for 6 months.

    Here is the thing,

Since the age of 2, I'm epileptic and under medication for that (1 and 1/2 tabs depakine 500 chrono ED, which is valproic acid)
Also I've been thru lotta boards regarding taking or not T3 (some say t4 might be better) along with HGH

    My major concerns here are:
    1. Does anybody know if there is a link between thyroid and epilepsy (or interactions with my meds), is it safe or should stay as far as possible?

    2. Is that a must have to use thyroid hormone such as T3 or T4 (and why one more than the other) when on HGH. Lotta peeps claims not to and that it worked fine for them, so I'm confused

    3. If that's really necessary and fine for me to use, then do I need to use t3 or t4 throughout the 6 months of HGH?

Trust me when I say I've read LOTTA threads before posting.
Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    R.

I got this link from Marcus300 it talks about T4 and HGH. Really a good read. I learned a ton about T4 and HGH.

Great thread and really interesting to read!!

Though, now I know I need T4, is there a way to find out whether or not it could be beneficial/harmful regarding epilepsy......

The article doesn't say you NEED T4. T4 may optimize the positive results of GH, and can be necessary with larger doses of GH as it can suppress thyroid function. Most/many people run small - medium doses of GH without T4 and never have any thyroid issues and still get great results. Just your choice if you want to start messing with your thyroid at 28.

The epilepsy issue is something I would definitely talk to a doctor about.

Nope last thing I wanna is messing with my thyroid but how I got things, it appears that if you don't readjust your thyroid by using T4 that's where you would mess it up. So I dunno What should I do then, start using HGH and see how it goes then throw in some T4 if TSH aren't at their best and that feel tired? Sounds sketchy....

I definitely wouldn't wait until you notice the sides of suppressed thyroid function. IMHO I would get a thyroid panel done before starting GH and then have it checked again every 4 - 6 weeks. You can have it done for like $50 at many of the online blood-testing places like directlabs etc. - money well spent.

I've run HGH 5iu/ed going on two and a half years now. I haven't used any T4. I've just ordered T4 and I'll see if it makes a difference after a couple of months.

I just went to see my doc today and he advised my to check my TSH levels which were just fine 6 months ago and told me to get T4 just in case but also to start with nit using using and monitor my TSH levels every 3/4 weeks.
About the epilepsy, my medication has no interaction with T4 according to him but he's gonna try to get mire detailed info about that, not being a specialist to that matter.
